This black belt school of martial arts specializes in Tae Kwon Do, and serves the greater Orange County area. A Korean martial art, Tae Kwon Do is the national sport of South Korea and an official Olympic sporting event since 2000.
This martial art combines combat techniques, self-defense, sport, exercise, meditation and philosophy. The school trains students of all ages, and skill levels are measured by the color of belts. The belt colors are organized in ascending order from beginner to advanced, Black Belt being the most advanced. The colors in ascending order by skill level are as follows: white, yellow, orange, green, purple, blue, brown, red, black.
The school, which has over 3,800 square-feet of practice floor space, conducts individual and group training classes, as well as a variety of competitions and exhibitions. OC Tae Kwon Do Black Belt School is located on Ridge Route Drive between Moulton Parkway and Avenida de La Carlota.
