HistoryI decided to take the notary public test in 2018. I currently work for a mortgage company as a closer/funder. One of my duties as a funder is to review loan documents that have been signed by borrowers. In some occasions the borrower(s) would have to re-signed the whole set of documents due to documents not signed properly and would hold up the closing of the loan. Seeing this issue come up more often the usual, I decided to become a notary. I know the documents and know the Do's and Don'ts for a smooth closing.
