Oak Grove Elementary School is a California Distinguished School that offers academic education to students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school s core curriculum includes language arts, math, science, social studies, art, reading, writing, and health and physical education. Oak Grove Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that is comprised of parent volunteers who provide assistance by organizing a variety of educational and enriching activities. In addition, it offers character education, after-school booster classes and preschool programs. It is a part of the Capistrano Unified School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Oak Grove Elementary School has been operational since 1996 and is located in Aliso Viejo, Calif.
