1982-1983: Associate in a mixed animal practice in Paso Robles, Calif. Attended to small animal, equine, and farm animal medical issues on a routine and emergency basis. 1983-2002: Self employed as a large animal ambulatory veterinarian. Attended to equine and farm animal patients locally. Also became the veterinarian for West Hills College in Coalinga, California, and was selected to be the veterinarian of the dairy at Soledad State Prison from 1987 to1988. Performed equine veterinary services at Creston Oaks Arabians from 1984 through 1986. A large proportion of these services included overseeing the breeding program based on artificial insemination. 1985-present: Opened a small animal practice in Paso Robles. Attended to small animal medical issues on a routine and emergency basis. 1990-2000: Opened a second small animal office in neighboring Atascadero
