North Monterey County High School is a public school offering educational opportunities to students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,000 students and offers elective courses in vocational arts, math, science, physical education, language arts, social studies, foreign languages, and visual and performing arts. It also offers courses in computer networking and repair, construction technology, automobile tuning, welding, aviation technology, interior designing, baking and pastry, clothing construction, catering, and foods and nutrition. The high school provides various extracurricular activities, such as jazz and concert band, symphony, coir, theater, dance, photography, and drawing and painting. It has athletic teams for baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball and wrestling. North Monterey County High School is a part of the North Monterey County Unified School District and is located in Castroville, Calif.
