North High School is a public high school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. The school s mascot is the Saxon and it has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students. It teaches various subjects, including English, applied technology, fine arts, foreign language, math, physical education, science and social science. It also provides special education to students with special needs. The school provides opportunities to students to participate in different sports, including football, volleyball, golf, cross country, tennis, soccer, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, swimming, and track and field. Its library has a large collection of books on topics, such as poetry, science, math, literature, art and history. North High School is a part of the Torrance Unified School District and is located in Torrance, Calif.
