Nina Yoshpe, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist with more than 25 years of experience in private practice. At SCENT – Southern California Ear, Nose, and Throat in Long Beach, Los Alamitos, and Huntington Beach, California, Dr. Yoshpe specializes in both adult and pediatric otolaryngology, caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Yoshpe graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, continuing on to her internship and Otolaryngology residency at the many hospitals of this prestigious institution. She is a board-certified otolaryngologist, with 25 years of treating both children and adults in the breadth of conditions affecting the ears, nose, and throat. She has a special interest in patients with Down’s Syndrome, performing needed surgeries, and hosting community educational seminars for these special patients and their families. Dr. Yoshpe has been involved in advancing her field, both within the hospital and beyond its doors. She has served as section chief of the department of otolaryngology, as well as currently holding the position of chair of the department of surgery. She has held the position of President of the Women in Otolaryngology Group and is a member of the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Giving back is very important to Dr. Yoshpe. She has been involved in the Jonathan Jaques Cancer Center and has volunteered on Medical Missions with Mending Kids. She also is involved with the National Charity League. She enjoys reading, swimming, and the laughter of her 5 grandchildren.
