News-Enterprise is a longstanding, free community newspaper delivered on Wednesdays to roughly 22,500 homes in the areas of Los Alamitos, Cypress, Rossmoor, La Palma, El Dorado Park and parts of Long Beach and Seal Beach. It is part of the OC Neighborhood Newspapers chain, which includes the Sun Newspapers of Seal Beach. Founded 87 years ago, the News-Enterprise has been a part of the community since before Los Alamitos was incorporated as a city. However, the paper has had multiple owners over the years. With its local focus, the paper includes news such as politics, crime, schools and community events and features. Roughly 30,000 editions are printed every week.
