The National Council of Jewish Women's Los Angeles chapter was founded in 1909 and is headquartered on North Fairfax Avenue. The group accepts members and volunteers of all races, genders, religions and ethnicities, providing a variety of social services including a mental health talk line, women's support groups, family court support services, scholarship programs, thrift shops and a variety of youth programs.
