I build communities of inclusion. I provide dialogue of both commonality and diversity. When clients come to me, I provide a playing field where everyone plays, not just the talented or determined; and I do it with art. All I ask is clients allow themselves to be a beginner. I am a practicing Zentangle teacher. I'm certified to lead groups and teach Zentangle Method, and I'm one of barely 3,000 world-wide to hold this certification. Zentangle Method is structured pattern drawing. Supplies are few; a black pen, a paper tile and a pencil. There is a sequence of non-representational patterns. And underneath it all is learning what to do when your pen takes a mind of its own and the stroke goes "sideways." How do you handle your job when the unexpected happens? How do you react when life happens and your plans get turned around? Do you know how to gain by letting go? Embedded in the teaching of Zentangle is rethinking mistakes as possibility. WHY WILL YOU LOVE TO WORK WITH ME? I love to make people laugh; I'm transparent and sometimes tease mercilessly. I love to see what's beneath the armor. I listen. And I don't run with scissors.
