The Museum of the African Diaspora was born to chronicle the journeys, adaptations, and achievements of each successive wave of people as they left the African continent. Since the earliest humans lived in Africa, we are all African. The museum is place where people meet and learn about the importance of their own stories.

The Museum of the African Diaspora showcases the art and culture that resulted from the dispersal of Africans throughout the world. The MoAD salon is a premier events venue for receptions, lectures, film-screenings, and dinners. Guests invited to a private event can enjoy mingling in the salon, as well as, exploring the museum gallery and exhibitions.
