History
After many years of working for LA County contracted agencies (See Education and Training on website: maryrodela.com) I decided to open my private practice in 2007. I believe in empowering individuals by teaching them how to tap into their internal strengths, to develop personal skills and more suitable ways of coping, and to increase clarity leading to choices and decisions when facing personal struggles and overcoming personal challenges. I enjoy assisting families who are being challenged in their relationships with each other, with behavioral problems in school or at home, and in addressing underlying issues that may be the cause of feelings of sadness, depression or that emotionally trigger anxiety or anxious behaviors. My greatest joy is watching my clients take charge, with active participation in therapy, of their own life, path and journey.
