Owned by coin dealer Larry Bovo, Silver Baron is the oldest full-service coin shop on Alameda that buys, sells and appraises coins. Larry Bovo is known for his honest and extremely knowledgeable expertise of U.S. coins and will purchase collectibles with cash and in professional confidentiality. New and seasoned collectors are both welcomed, and while the Silver Baron specializes in halves, silver dollars and special U.S. coins, it also buys and sells scrap metal, sterling silver, flatware, bullion, baseball cards and other collectables.
