On Sunday mornings, white tents fill the parking lot of the India Community Center. Shoppers arrive early to have their pick of the freshest produce, eggs--even fish--before it sells out. Parking along the street gets so packed that a staff person directs traffic along Los Coches.
While another farmer's market also takes place on Sunday mornings at The Great Mall parking lot, this one attracts more people and vendors. It is managed by The Pacific Coast Farmers' Market Association.
This farmers market takes cash, WIC-FMNP coupons and EBT food stamps. The EBT can be exchanged for tokens to use in the market.
