History
Metro Litho Inc. (Now Metro Packaging & Imaging since 1999) was founded in 1964 by Manual de Torres as a provider of color separations, retouching and film preparation services. In 1969 Metro installed one of the first six-color presses in the U.S at our New Jersey facility. The press was purchased for the purpose of press proofing, but soon we were running production cartons as well. Metro now manufactures millions of folding cartons using all of the latest equipment available. In 1999 Metro Imaging West, Inc. opened in Oakland, CA to provide production art, mock-up and prepress services to our west coast packaging clients.
