Tides Center is an independent nonprofit organization that was established in 1996 as the Projects Program. It has been a fiscal sponsor to more than 670 projects and generates over $522.4 million revenues, as well as provides support to projects that are in the lines of advancing social change. The Tides Center offers back office services, including financial, human resource, payroll, grants management, compliance, and risk and liability. It provides assistance to projects that effect daily change in the areas of social justice, economic development, civic engagement, environmental sustainability, environmental justice, human rights, community development, international affairs and nonprofit capacity building.
