MPIC is a nonprofit employment and training resource center that provides a range of services and programs. Its partners include the Goodwill Industries Workforce Development Division, Mayacama Employment Service, CalWORKS Mental Health, Economic Development & Financing Corporation and West Company. MPIC offers vocational assessment, computerized-tutorial programs, and internship job, basic skills and work readiness training programs for youth. The center in partnership with the Mendocino County Office of Education operates the federally funded Workforce Investment Act Youth Program. MPIC s youth internship program includes a range job training programs. The center is located in Ukiah and has branches in Covelo, Fort Bragg, Laytonville, Willits and Point Arena, Calif.
