Memorial Park is centrally located on tree-lined Indian Hill Boulevard at the corner of 8th Street. The 7.2 acre park is recognized as Claremont's primary community park, and is the site of the historic 1920's Garner House, the current home of Claremont Heritage. It has an outdoor amphitheater-stage, softball field, playground, wading pool, basketball court, sand volleyball court, tennis court, picnic area and public restrooms. Many community events are held here including the annual Fourth of July celebration, summer concerts-in-the-park, and tiny-tots summer day camp. There is free lot parking for visitors, as well as street parking available in the general neighborhood.
