I'd like to reintroduce myself, I am Matt Ginney. But since 1986, many people knew me in my hometown as "Matt the Roofer." Towards the end of that career, I was doing Roof Repairs from $150. Honestly, if the work was not so physically demanding, I would still be chasing leaky roofs. I was good and mother nature kept me honest. I grew up in a small family business, Mike Howard Garage Doors. In 2008, I became physically unable to continue roofing. My wife and I moved to Sacramento to reinvent ourselves. It was June 6, 2015 that I earned my InterNACHI Certified Home Inspector status. I toured InterNACHI's House of Horrors training facility in Boulder CO. between August 23-27,2018. I am committed to continuing my education and expanding my knowledge to be better able to share the necessary information that is needed to be known with my clients and their real estate professionals. Home Inspections are a non-invasive visual inspection generally conducted during a real estate transaction. I perform inspections according to the InterNACHI Standard of Practices. It is a limited inspection of the systems of a house that describe the conditions of the house and property at the time of inspection. The Standards of Practice include the evaluating the Roofing, Exterior, Structural Components, Heating/Central Air Conditioning, Plumbing System, Electrical System, Insulation and Ventilation, Interiors, Garage, and built in Kitchen Appliances. An electronic report is available within 24 hrs of the inspection using HomeGuage inspection software. A copy of the InterNACHI Standards of Practice is available at the time of the inspection and can be viewed any time at InterNACHI.com/SOP. I am also independently studied up to be able to provide information on wildfire protections available to residential homes. Thank you for your consideration and due diligence. I look forward to serving you. Matt your Home Inspector.
