We are Matcha Cafe Maiko. All of our ingredients are premium quality and imported directly from Japan. Our Matcha and Hojicha powders are born in Uji, Kyoto from natural, healthy, high grade plants. Tea has been grown in Uji for over 500 years. Our Matcha has a great aroma and really brings out the rich taste and flavor of Matcha found in Matcha Cafe Maiko's offerings. These products are not like any others. Please give them a try. All offerings and products are make fresh daily and in house, including adzuki bean (red bean), mochi ball, agar jelly, kukuto jelly (brown sugar jelly), ice cream cone, and Matcha cake. For example, Out adzuki bean are baked fresh daily and it take 5 hours to cook.
Specialties
We're proud to offer the highest quality, most authentic matcha in San Diego today. All of our products, including the ice cream, waffle cones, soft zerve, shaved ice, drinks, toppings, and cakes, are made in-house without additives and preservatives. Matcha Cafe Maiko opened its first store in Hawaii with with goal of providing customers quality matcha with the authentic taste. All products are imported straight from Uji, Japan.
