Established in 1883, the Martinez Gun Club is a non-profit organization that is celebrated as the oldest continuously running gun club in the United States. This family-oriented club owns and manages 33 acres that is used for shotgun sports, shooting facilities and fun events. Shotgun games and clay sports include trap, five stand, American skeet, international skeet and international bunker.
Special events are held throughout the year, including holiday parties, crab feeds and a regular Wednesday Family Night for members and their families to enjoy a group dinner and shoot a few rounds. This facility also offers several safe and fun youth programs for introducing school-age young people to clay target sports.
