Marjaree Mason Center addresses the serious and life-threatening issues of domestic violence. It is an organization who works to eliminate domestic violence and homelessness in communities through prevention and intervention, including education, counseling and shelter. The center provides residential shelter to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. It offers social, recreation and educational activities for children to grow with self-respect and dignity. Marjaree Mason Center provides clothing, personal care items, food, transportation, counseling and case management services to shelters. Its houses have more than 50 beds with a kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. Additionally, it offers individual adult and child counseling services. The center is a member of the Fresno Regional Foundation, Ahart Benefit Insurance Services and the Clovis Hills Community Church. The center is located in Fresno, Calif.
