HistoryThis clinic is designed to support the 6u-12u age groups using various skills assessments, age appropriate conditioning and instructional drills. Coach Partee, a former varsity softball coach, joined the Marin Tremors in 2012 to encourage the younger generation of softball players. She brings with her a great enthusiasm for the sport, countless hours of coaching experience, innovative new ideas and a regular group of high school volunteers. Most weeks there is a 2:1 ratio of kids to volunteers, which gives the unique opportunity to bond and learn from high school students. A lot of emphasis is placed on throwing mechanics, at this age it is very important to ingrain how to throw properly to prevent injuries.
