MCIL is absolute garbage. I begged for help with housing and finding a caregiver for over six months, they will not lift a finger if you're not on your deathbed.

Great local resource, with dedicated advocates. They helped me find a caregiver post major surgery. Also helped locate a pharmacy that handles specialty meds.

Catholic Youth Organization

The Catholic Youth Organization operates St. Vincent's School for Boys, a multi-service agency serving children and families in the North Bay Area. There are three divisions, including: a residential treatment center for boys in San Rafael, a foster family agency with families in several counties, and two group homes in San Francisco serving adolescent girls and boys on probation. St. Vincent's School is a long-term treatment center with 40 beds for boys ages 7 to 19 who come from 30 different California counties.
