Bishop Union High School provides academic education to more than 700 students in grades nine through 12. It offers a wide range of subject courses, such as English, foreign language, social studies, math, physical education, science, fine arts, industrial arts and career education. The school has various clubs that include student council, fashion design, choir, band, dance, peer mediation and the Native American Student Association. The school also offers a variety of sports activities, including basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, football, swimming, tennis, cheerleading, cross country, and track and field. It has a library that offers a collection of books, learning Web sites, music resources, newspaper Web sites, online databases and encyclopedias and teacher resources. The high School is a part of the Bishop Joint Union High School District and is located in Bishop, Calif.
