Madera South High School provides secondary education to students in grades nine through 12. It enrolls more than 2,000 students and is a part of the Madera Unified School District. Established in 2006, the school provides classes in English, math, science, social science, visual and performing arts, agriculture, home economics and foreign languages. The school also provides honors program career counseling, student assistance programs, advanced placement, music theory and ethnic studies programs. It has athletic teams for various sports, including cross country, football, water polo, volleyball, tennis, golf, gymnastics, soccer, wrestling, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming and diving, and track and field. Madera South High School is located in Madera, Calif.
