History
The Madera District Chamber of Commerce can trace its beginnings back to 1911, originally known as the Madera County Chamber of Commerce incorporated on October 24, 1911. The current Madera District Chamber of Commerce became incorporated under the laws of the State of California by filing its Articles of Incorporation through the State of California Secretary of State's office on the 9th day of October, 1970.

The mission of the Madera District Chamber of Commerce is to support a diverse regional economy by promoting a thriving business environment that contributes to our community's quality of life. We are a voluntary organization representing all segments of the business community with the potential for marshaling the energies and efforts of its membership toward the accomplishment of common goals for a better community. The Madera District Chamber of Commerce strives to endorse a strong local economy, represent and advocate on behalf of business, provide opportunities for enhancing business connections and promote our community.
