HistoryPogo Park is an entrepreneurial community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in one of the Bay Area's toughest inner-city neighborhoods, Richmond's Iron Triangle. Our mission is to transform little-used city parks into safe, vibrant, and magical places for children to play, and to use the transformation of parks as a vehicle to transform the community. Our team of community residents plans, designs, builds, and manages our parks themselves. Harbour-8 Park is a work-in-progress, and is open to the public from sunrise to sunset.
