Luke Nicholson, MD, is a hand and upper extremity surgeon in Downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, California. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Southern California (USC) and Keck Medical Center of USC.He is actively involved in research and is a candidate member of the American Society of Surgery for the Hand and American Society for Peripheral Nerve Surgery. Dr. Nicholson has been named a Southern California Super Doctor Rising Star and been named a Top Doctor in Los Angeles Magazine.Dr. Nicholson completed a fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microvascular Surgery at Duke University. Prior to that, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at USC in Los Angeles, California, where he served as administrative chief resident. Prior to that, he earned his medical and undergraduate degrees at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating cum laude and elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society.Outside of his practice, Dr. Nicholson has volunteered with many organizations, including Blue Mountain Project and Touching Hands Project, providing education and health care to underserved communities. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family in his free time.
