The Lopez family continues the tradition the late Charlie Lopez started in 1967.... Veteran and Locally owned - thank you for shopping local! History: Lopez Ranch was founded by Eleuterio and Arcadia Lopez in 1935. The family became land owners and farmers in Northern and Southern California and had a very popular gourmet market and nursery on Jefferson Blvd, in Mar Vista. In 1967 Charlie , son of Mr. and Mrs. Lopez, decided to cultivate pumpkins on the Mar/Playa Vista property and the rest is history! Lopez Ranch was the first pumpkin patch in California and is the only native Angeleno-owned pumpkin patch in the Venice area. The

We were so happy with all the cute pictures we took there. They have a pumpkin coloring station for 10$. Our daughter enjoyed it. Everyone there was so nice. All kinds of pumpkin to purchase....

The Patch is small, but very organized, cute and they have a art time with children to paint pumpkins for $7. Take your children and guarantee your pumpkins there.
