History
Little House was originally founded in 1949 to serve Seniors 50 years and older. Today, Little House provides a way of life based on the belief that no matter what their age, people have not done all the things they would like to do, met all the people they care to know, contributed all they could to the health and welfare of their community nor learned all they want to learn. From organized classes and workshops to a variety of hobbies and games, members quickly discover that there simply aren't enough days in the week to sample all the opportunities available to them. Along with the daily lunch program and weekly movies, there are trips and tours, birthday parties, dances and holiday celebrations. There is a computer instruction and lab program and a variety of health screening and lectures.
