Lindsay Wildlife Museum has been in business since 1955. It facilities include a discovery room for children and pet education section with domestic animals. The museum conducts nature- and science-oriented classes and trips for children and adults. Lindsay Wildlife Museum has a staff of more than 500 volunteers. Its on-site wildlife rehabilitation center is one of the oldest and largest wildlife hospitals in the United States. The center offers treatment for over 5,000 injured and orphaned animals annually. Lindsay Wildlife Museum provides animal care services and programs. The museum includes various birds, such as hawks, owls and eagles. It also has mammals, including bats, coyotes and rabbits.
