Lindsay Wildlife Museum has been in business since 1955. It facilities include a discovery room for children and pet education section with domestic animals. The museum conducts nature- and science-oriented classes and trips for children and adults. Lindsay Wildlife Museum has a staff of more than 500 volunteers. Its on-site wildlife rehabilitation center is one of the oldest and largest wildlife hospitals in the United States. The center offers treatment for over 5,000 injured and orphaned animals annually.
