PowerCET Corporate Overview Since its founding in 1986, PowerCET Corporation has focused on improving the productivity and reliability of electronic systems through consulting, education and training programs for client companies. Dr. Michael F. Stringfellow, Ph.D., P.E., joined PowerCET Corporation as Chief Scientist in July 1994. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of lightning, lightning protection, general power quality, failure analysis and forensic investigations. Dr. Stringfellow manages the PowerCET facility in Scottsdale, Arizona. Services include facility audits and investigations directed at power quality and electromagnetic interference problems. Additional services include lightning risk analysis, facility hardening against the effects of lightning, and facility-wide evaluation of transient protection systems. Fortune 100 clients include major health facilities, financial institutions, semi-conductor fabrication facilities, data-network and telecommunications installations, and electrical utilities. Forensic consulting services include root-cause analysis, stray voltage investigations and product reliability evaluations. Software Products PowerCET introduced a unique new software product in late 1992. The software product, named MainEvent, is designed for use with appropriate test equipment to provide the user with automated electromagnetic environment monitoring, data collection and analysis.
