Elina Kari, MD is a board-certified head and neck surgeon and neurotologist based in San Diego, CA. With expertise in treating ear and hearing problems in both adults and children, Dr. Kari specializes in conditions such as ear infections, perforated eardrums, cholesteatoma, otosclerosis, and acoustic neuroma. She also evaluates patients for cochlear implants and other hearing devices. As an assistant professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Kari is actively involved in training medical students, residents, and fellows. She has conducted research on pediatric hearing loss and cochlear implants, and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
