History
My last class in law school was wills and trusts and it made me want to be involved in providing wills and trusts for people. I believe EVERYONE should have at minimum a will directing where the possessions go when they pass away. If you own property I believe you should have a trust. I filed a bankruptcy in 1995 with my husband after we lost our business and house. I understand the anxiety and shame people feel regarding bankruptcy - I felt the same way but I realized that bankruptcy really offers you a second chance and allows you to start fresh. I have recently found a company that helps people improve their credit score after bankruptcy, since many of my clients are concerned about their credit score after filing. I separated in 1996 but could not afford my divorce until 1998. I had an amicable divorce but I understand the emotions behind going through the process. My goal is to help guide people through the legal paperwork and make sure they are getting a fair resolution.
