Dr. Povitz was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at McGill University, then continued her studies at McGill's dental school, graduating with distinction in 2011 as a doctor of dental medicine. The following year, Dr. Povitz completed a General Practice Residency. She worked in private practice for 4 years, before she, her husband and young son moved to Los Angeles in 2016. Dr. Povitz was a young leader in the Montreal dental community as a member of numerous professional associations. She sat on the executive committee for the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and looks forward to being involved in many of the dental organizations here in Los Angeles. Dr. Povitz attends continuing education courses to continually enrich her knowledge and skills to best benefit her patients as the field advances. Outside of the office, Dr. Povitz enjoys spending time with family and friends, and exploring her new city, getting to know all Los Angeles has to offer.
