Established by Roga and Elena Pantoja in 1973, La Guitarras has always been a family-owned and operated restaurant. Elena, who was born in Mexico, created most of her recipes to authentically reflect her native country. Bartender Lalo makes the "Best Margarita in Novato" voted by Novato Patch readers in 2012.
