Al Langer founded our business in 1947 as a 12-stool deli counter at 704 South Alvarado. Two expansions later at the same location, Langer's Delicatessen-Restaurant remains a family operation, headed up by Al's son Norm, plus Norm's wife Jeannette and daughter Trisha.
