Kimberly Smith is driven. She puts all her passion and drive into her wines. she has been a foodie all her life. In 2006 she decided to go back to college again and take course to answer her question concerning her love of Pinot Noir and why she spent $50 a bottle on what she loves. At an school meet and greet she met her mentor who was speaking that night. Wes Hagen, winemaker for Clos Pepe. she was in his winery the next morning. Her first professional vintage was 2010 won Gold and she was in the WSJ with 20 other world class winemakers. She believes fine wine takes time. She waits until the wine in barrel sings then she bottles. She produces Wines from the Sta. Rita Hills, AVA. Her home. As she say's
