LACER — Literacy Arts Culture Education and Recreation — is a nonprofit organization that provides free arts and literacy after school activities to Los Angeles school children. LACER is located inside the Hollywood Community Service building on Cherokee Avenue just north of Hollywood Boulevard. The LACER after school program is partnered with United Way and offers visual art education, dance, music, academic support and sports.
