La Paz Intermediate School provides educational services to more than 1,100 students in grades seven and eight. The school conducts classes in math, language arts, life science, world history and physical education. It offers the English Language Learners program. It organizes field trips to several educational and cultural destinations in the community. La Paz Intermediate School also operates a student council. The school offers a foreign language course in Spanish. It has a student-teacher-parent organization that conducts several fundraising activities and special events, including musical programs and sports tournaments. In addition, it offers a range of activities in drama, art, keyboarding and music. The school provides food, medical care and guidance counseling. Located in Mission Viejo, Calif., La Paz Intermediate School is a part of the Saddleback Valley Unified School District.
