Established in 2006, La Crescenta Elementary School provides educational opportunities to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, science, social studies and mathematics. The school, in association with Kidspace Museum, Jet Propulsion Laboratory and GCC Science Department, conducts classroom visits, guest lecturers and field trips. La Crescenta Elementary School also maintains a literacy center, as well as organizes child development and special educational programs. It maintains parent-teacher organization that participates in various events and activities. The school additionally offers financial assistance to students from low-income families. Located in La Crescenta, Calif., La Crescenta Elementary School is a part of the Glendale Unified School District, which serves over 29,000 students through nearly 30 elementary, middle and high schools.
