The West Los Angeles Animal Care Center on Pico Boulevard opened in 2007, replacing the former shelter on the corner of Missouri and Bundy. The center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Services include pet adoptions, vaccinations and microchipping.

We brought our dog here to be microchipped, which we had heard about on channel 5 news. It was free & the staff was very compassionate and helpful. They were so great I will now be volunteering here.
