History
In 2006, Owner, Jordan Kivelstadt, began his career in the wine industry as a production manager for The Donum Estate. With the founding of Kivelstadt Cellars in 2007, Kivelstadt realized his passion for challenging the status quo of conventional California wines - both through his unique winemaking style and commitment to sustainability. Over the last twelve years, Kivelstadt has pioneered the movement towards alternative packaging through both wine-on-tap and canned wine. Since opening their new Winegarten in June of 2020, Kivelstadt Cellars has offered customers the option to ditch the bottle and opt instead for eco-friendly refillable wine growlers, while enjoying carefully crafted bites. Kivelstadt Cellars Winegarten features on-tap selections of wine, craft beer, kombucha, and cold brew coffee, brunch and lunch service, seated tastings, multi-course food, and wine pairings, and educational seminars on wines from around the world in a casual, pretense-free environment.
