History
Kids Connect Us launched in July 2018 after recognizing a need in the community for in-home feeding and occupational therapy services. Initially, we offered speech therapy services but have since narrowed our focus on occupational therapy, parent education, and consultation. Since the spring of 2020, we have been honing our skills in virtual therapy and providing limited in-person services while adhering to federal, state, and county guidelines.
Specialties
Kids connect us provides in-home, virtual, and outdoor occupational therapy for children to work on fine motor and gross motor skills, self-regulation, self-care, handwriting, and sensory processing. During warmer months, our outdoor camps allow kids to try surfing, therapeutic rock climbing, and exploration in nature while engaging in therapy. We build on each child's strengths in a play-based approach where creativity, curiosity, self-regulation, and communication skills are built into every session. Superbills are provided.
