HistoryThe Children's Garden began in 1991 as a small family child care. We have changed and grown through the years and are now a large family child care with the best preschool curriculum in town!SpecialtiesThe Children's Garden is an affordable, home based Pre-K Program for children ages 3-6. We offer an outstanding Curriculum, with clear cut goals, and are dedicated to your child's success! Children who graduate from our program are more than prepared for kindergarten! We teach all the basics: Identifying shapes, colors, numbers and letters. How to make comparisons, know opposites and matching. How to follow simple rules and control themselves both in a group setting and individually. We help them master some fine motor skills, such as: coloring, painting, drawing, gluing, writing and cutting. We introduce the children to Spanish and sign language! We offer a range of gross motor and creative opportunities including physical education, organized team activities, and even GARDENING! In addition to the basics, we use Frontline Phonics: ~Our graduates enter Kindergarten with a solid reading foundation, and a very broad vocabulary. This is truly an amazing program!
