History
I started my first bodywork practice in New Haven, CT in 1989. I opened my most recent practice in Alameda, CA in May, 2021 when pandemic restrictions lifted and I was vaccinated. As soon as I graduated from college I took my first bodywork training at The Laura Norman School of Reflexology, NYC. I thought it was just for fun, the fulfillment of a dream I'd held close for many years. Reflexology led to massage therapy led to yoga instruction led to yoga therapy led to decades of certification courses related to the art and science of a wide variety of bodywork modalities including Swedish, Kripalu (intuitive), prenatal, specialized doula services, deep tissue, trigger point, aromatherapy, color therapy, Trager, Polarity, and Reiki. What began as a wishful whim in 1989 became a long term fulfilling career in the healing arts.
