Kehillat Israel is a Jewish Reconstructionist congregation, adhering to the Reconstructionist ideas of modernism and progressively evolving the Jewish faith.
This Pacific Palisades congregation has changed names and developed considerably since it was first established in 1950. The current building was completed in 1997 to accommodate a growing congregation. Programs are available here for seniors, women, business people, non-Jews, youths, parents and children. Events are held here frequently, and the synagogue has its own caterer, Parties Plus. Kehillat Israel also has an early childhood center.
