Boy Scouts of America
Incorporated in 1910, Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest youth development organizations in the United States. It provides various programs for the youth that builds character, trains them in taking responsibilities, participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. Located in El Cerrito, Calif., the organization serves approximately two million young people between seven and 20 years of age, at more than 290 councils throughout the United States. Boy Scouts of America publishes handbooks for all phases of scouting programs for use by youth members, adult leaders and parents.
