KAZA 54 Azteca America, located in Glendale, Calif., is a television network affiliate of Azteca America, headquartered in New York. Azteca America is a Spanish-language broadcasting network for the Hispanic market. The network supplies its own originally produced shows for Hispanics in United States, as well as novelas, news, sports and entertainment, talk shows and other features. Programming is transmitted 24 hours a day, seven days a week through its affiliate network. Azteca America Television Network is 80% owned by Pappas Telecast and 20% by Azteca TV of Mexico. KAZA was launched in 2001. It operates studios in Glendale, and its transmitter is on Mt. Wilson, along with those of the major Los Angeles stations.
